Recent reviews

I haven’t posted my reviews in far too long, so here are the most recent, going back to July.   Keep an eye on Sarah-Louise Young and Michael Roulston – there’s a duo you don’t want to miss.  Barb Jungr is as amazing as ever – if you haven’t seen her, make sure you catch her at the Hippodrome.  Speaking of which, their season continues to wow me. Hop along to see whomever’s on – worth your while for sure!

Shades of Blue now on sale for New York

Tickets are now on sale for my Metropolitan Room debut on October 4 and 5 – both shows 7 pm.  You can book on the Metropolitan Room website – www.metropolitanroom.com  I’m very excited to be returning to NYC with the show, after its premiere there at Don’t Tell Mama in June.  I have Michael Roulston on piano, Tom Hubbard on bass, Jeremy Clayton on reeds and Susan Aquila on violin.

More dates added at Crazy Coqs Cabaret

You have to see the room to believe it.  It’s without a doubt one of the most beautiful original Art Deco rooms on earth.  So excited to have more dates added – July 13 and 20 so far, and hopefully more.

Wow!!!  So, excited!!!!!  Come see the show!

Last minute London gig

SO excited!  Have a gig on July 4 at London’s newest cabaret venue – The Crazy Coqs – in the amazingly gorgeous new restaurant, Brasserie Zedel at Piccadilly Circus – www.brasseriezedel.com

It’s a newly renovated, original 1930s Art Deco space.  Reminds me of Busby Berkeley musicals or, think “The Women.”

Can’t wait!  Doing SHADES OF BLUE again with Michael Roulston on piano, Nick Kacal on bass and Bob Sydor on woodwinds.

WOO HOO!

Shades of Blue – only 4 days to NYC showtime!

So happy to be gearing up to my New York debut of SHADES OF BLUE.  I’m anything but blue, but not seeing red, and neither green with envy, nor do I have a yellow streak up my back!  My London musical director arrives today, and we’re gonna hit the ground running.  Shows on June 15th and 16th at Don’t Tell Mama.

Hope to see all my NYC friends there, and more!
